VMS+

• New alert monitoring in VMS+ — A new monitoring experience now lives inside VMS+. Jump straight to live view when an alert comes in, review playback from the same screen, see alerts on a map, and clear them once you've reviewed. One place to see what's happening and act on it.
• Admin user control — Admins can now force a logout or reset a password for any user in the organization. Useful during a security event or when someone's access needs to change right away.
• Login authenticators — MFA now supports SMS, email, Google Authenticator, and passkeys, so each user can verify with the method that fits them best, and rolling out MFA across the organization is easier to enforce and adopt.

AI

• Lenel alert clearance — Lumana now connects to Lenel and uses agentic AI to review the video associated with each access-control alert, automatically acknowledging or clearing alerts based on the footage. Fewer alerts to chase by hand, and less noise from events that the video can rule out.

Optimization

• Device issue monitoring — Monitor device issues across your system, acknowledge them, and troubleshoot from one place. Includes storage recording monitoring, which flags cases where footage isn't being retained for the period you've configured, so you can close a retention gap before you go looking for footage and find it missing.
• Hardware monitoring — Set alerts on CPU, temperature, storage, and device health to catch hardware issues early, before they affect recording or performance.

• One-Click Camera Password Randomization — Instantly generate a unique, secure password for every camera connected to Lumana with a single click. Eliminate shared or default credentials and strengthen your network security in seconds.
• Hidden Camera Passwords — Camera passwords are no longer displayed at the camera level, reducing the risk of accidental exposure during screen sharing, walkthroughs, or shoulder-surfing scenarios.
• Enforce Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA) — Admins can now require MFA across all users in the organization, adding an essential layer of protection to every account.
• Fast Path Navigation (Ctrl+K on Windows or Cmd+K on Mac) — Instantly navigate Lumana without touching your mouse. Open categories, access features, and jump anywhere using a powerful command palette with free-text search.

Optimization

• Uptime History Charts — New visual charts show each camera's online and offline history over time, giving you clear visibility into device reliability and helping you identify issues before they become blind spots.
• Hanwha Camera Support — Lumana now supports adding Hanwha camera APIs with automatic camera discovery, making it faster and simpler to onboard Hanwha devices into your environment.

AI

• Custom States — Detect and monitor the state of objects in your environment and receive alerts when conditions change or persist beyond a set threshold. For example, get notified when a door has been left open for longer than a specified period, or search for specific door transitions, making it easier to enforce access policies and respond to anomalies.

VMS+

• Push to Talk on Mobile — Communicate directly through the mobile app with a single tap, making it easier to deter or resolve events in real time from anywhere.
• Multi-Parameter Search on Mobile — Layer multiple search parameters and attributes from the mobile app to conduct the same powerful video investigation capabilities as the web app.
• Suspicious Person Report — Quickly build a report to understand when and how often suspicious people have appeared across sites, helping identify patterns before they escalate.
• Alarm Monitoring Activity Review — Get full visibility into the alarm monitoring workflow, including verification requests, status updates, responses, and linked alerts.
• Hikvision Speaker Support — Natively add Hikvision speakers to Lumana to play audio patterns and sounds when an alert is triggered, enabling faster on-site response without additional integrations.
