As 2025 wraps, we’re sharing a few highlights from a breakout year at Lumana. We advanced our award-winning AI video security platform to help teams get faster answers with less noise, scaled adoption at record speed, and helped world-class organizations enhance security, safety, and operations with visual intelligence.

Here’s a look at what made this year stand out:

2025 highlights: Real scale. Real momentum. Real impact.

Making video intelligence easier to use and easier to act on

In 2025, Lumana focused on making video intelligence more useful in day-to-day operations. That meant improving what our AI can recognize, how quickly teams can find answers, and how seamlessly Lumana connects with the tools and workflows teams already rely on.

AI that understands what matters

Lumana continued advancing its visual AI models beyond basic object detection to recognize higher-risk activity and context, including brandished guns, tailgating, and smoke. We also added Suspect Alerts to capture and alert on new or known faces, and enhanced animal recognition, helping teams identify what actually matters with greater accuracy and dramatically fewer false alarms.

Faster answers when every second counts

Lumana launched Text Search for plain-English searching across your environment. Combined with Custom Objects and a multi-attribute Classic Search that lets teams layer filters to pinpoint events, Lumana delivers the most powerful video search experience available.

Connected systems, smarter response

Lumana strengthened integrations across access control, sensors, Slack, Microsoft Teams, and FLIR, unifying AI video security with the systems teams already rely on. Teams get the video context needed to verify incidents and respond quickly, without switching between tools.

Proven in real-world enterprise conditions

From large-scale events to multi-venue operations, 2025 validated Lumana’s ability to perform in the most complex, dense, and demanding environments.

Large multi-day conference deployment

With 50,000+ attendees across multiple venues at one of the world’s largest software and AI conferences, Lumana monitored occupancy and high-priority safety signals, including brandished weapons, fights, and fires.

Over the course of the event, Lumana processed 3.4M+ detections with 99.99% object accuracy, enabling staff to act only on meaningful events and capture insights that improved attendee experience and future planning.

Jerusalem Day deployment

During an annual holiday that peaks at nearly 100,000 visitors, Lumana provided always-on visibility to support safety and secure operations. At a venue with 14 entrances and a strict 16,000-person capacity, Lumana monitored every gate in real time, providing accurate occupancy counting and flow management.

Over three days, Lumana logged 160,000+ entrances and exits at 99.5% counting accuracy to maintain safe crowd levels at all times.

What’s next in 2026

Lumana is pioneering a new era of physical safety and operational intelligence through AI video security.

2025 was a breakout year. 2026 is about acceleration.

We’re building toward a future where video systems don’t just observe, they anticipate, coordinate, and help teams respond faster with confidence.

Thanks for being part of the journey.
