AI
In our latest product release, all customers now have access to AI dashboards to capture real-time data from video, additional AI capabilities, and overall system optimizations.
Artificial intelligence
Fall detection — Lumana can now detect when people have fallen and trigger real-time alerts to system administrators or first responders.
VMS+
AI Dashboards — Customers can now capture real-time data from video and create custom dashboards to visualize security and operational trends.
Enhanced search filtering — Customers can now search video with greater granularity by filtering video based on specific timeframes, such as specific days between certain hours.
PTZ camera control — Lumana’s end-to-end solution now works with any ONVIF-compliant PTZ camera. Customers can now enable Pan-Tilt-Zoom (PTZ) controls in VMS+ for greater visibility and coverage.
API actions — Customers now use RESTful APIs to trigger automated commands with external systems as part of the alert creation process. New commands include GET, POST, PUT, DELETE, PATCH, and OPTIONS.
Mobile
Video playback — The VMS+ mobile app now features smoother video playback for live and historical video.
Alert control — Customers with the appropriate permissions can now enable or disable alerts.
Smoother onboarding — Users can now join an organization directly with the mobile app, providing an easier way for your team to start using Lumana.

In April's update, we've made further advancements in our AI capabilities and VMS+, further strengthening Lumana as a true AI enterprise video security solution.
Artificial Intelligence
Fire detection — Lumana can now detect the presence of fires within a scene and trigger real-time alerts and automated responses with external systems via our open API.
Enhanced tailgating alerts — Building on top of Lumana’s tailgating alerts, customers can now exclude specific license plates to minimize alerts for trusted vehicles.
LPR alert refinement — Customers can now set more granular LPR alert rules by specifying which direction a vehicle should go to trigger a license plate capture.
VMS+
Enterprise role-based access control — System administrators can now create custom roles and permissions for viewing, editing, searching, sharing, and more.
Results counter — Customers can now see the number of search or alert results at the top of the search and alert page.
Storage scheduler — Customers now have the flexibility to record footage based on a particular schedule to match organizational needs or preferences.
Hardened firewall settings — Administrators can now limit certain IP addresses that can be used to log in for greater cybersecurity.
Mobile
Notification settings — VMS+ mobile app users can now turn off notifications for a period of time.

This month's product update focused primarily on allowing customers to integrate Lumana's AI video security solution with any external third-party system and the launch of the VMS+ mobile app.
VMS+
Event tags — Lumana can now integrate and utilize data from external third-party systems to index footage and assist with enterprise video searches.
Audit logs — Administrators can now track over 60 system events to monitor user activity within an organization.
Alert logs — Administrators can proactively monitor alert activity and ensure alert delivery via email, SMS, or push notification.
Organization database groups — Customers can now manage and organize their organization data, including faces and vehicles detected, event tags, and doors.
Mobile
VMS+ mobile app — VMS+ is now available in the App Store or Google Play.
